Spotted: one romper + two bloggers

Today, I'm excited to be teaming up with the fabulous Meghan of Citrus Refreshing Fashion. She's stylish and nothing short of sweet, welcoming me into this crazy world of blogging with open arms. She is one of my favorite ladies to follow and I feel so fortunate to get to share with you all how we styled our Ann Taylor LOFT spot print romper
I couldn't resist this romper as soon as I saw Meghan mention on her blog that she snagged it on sale. So I stopped into my local LOFT store and luckily found the last one marked down ridiculously plus an additional 60%. Definitely couldn't say 'no' to that. And since purchasing it, I haven't stopped wearing, well just to wash it. But honestly, I love this romper, it has got to be one of the most comfortable pieces I own. Plus it's super light weight and in this crazy heat wave it's all I want to wear.
It's easily dressed up like Meghan did, or throw a denim vest [another Summer fave of mine] and you've got a great casual look. And like the girly girls we are, Meghan and I both saw it necessary to throw in a colorful shoe. Fashionable minds think alike!

Outfit Details:
Romper: LOFT [cute dot rompers here & here] | Vest: AE | Shoes: Steve Madden [similar here & here] | Bag: Target [old] | Necklace: Jane [aka Very Jane] | Bracelets: ILY Couture, Forever 21 | Sunnies: Windsor

Make sure to check out Citrus Refreshing Fashion for all the details on Meghan's look.
And don't forget to enter to win the beautiful Anthro Inspired Mint Bauble Necklace here. Giveaway winner will be announced next Friday.

Two-fer Tuesday: The Tunic

This season one of my favorite pieces has to be the tunic. It's such a versatile piece in my eyes. I picked up this particular one at H&M right before we headed to Maui and got so much use out of it. But even since then I've found so many ways and reasons to wear it beyond just being a swim cover up. Plus there are so many fun prints out there right now. Check out these ones that have caught my eye from J. Crew, ASOS, and J. Crew Factory.

Look 1: Boho for the Day
I really enjoy this look for the day. It's a little festival but not so overdone that it can't be worn for everyday errands.
Look 2: Tunic Turned Dressy
And with a quick change of shoes and a few accessories you're set to go to brunch or even dinner. I actually wore this recently when the Hubs and I went to Paradise Point in San Diego.
The tunic dress is a forgiving piece and can really work for most body types. Belting it can create shape if you're like me and straight up and down. But it also cinches and gives the appearance of a smaller waist if you've got assets elsewhere. And I even like it alone without all the fuss.
Outfit Details:
Look 1 - Vest: American Eagle [only in stores, similar here] | Tunic: H&M | Shoes: H&M [similar here and here] | Necklace: Forever 21 | Bracelets: Lotus Blossom Design, Groopdealz | Sunnies: Coach
Look 2 - Tunic: H&M | Shoes: Rock & Republic [similar here] | Belt: Target | Necklace: Luxe Craving | Bracelets: Lotus Blossom Design, Stella & Dot, Betsey Johnson viz Nordstrom Rack

So if you're looking for a versatile piece that will last you all Summer, I definitely recommend trying this look. H&M is constantly updating their stock and I've seen so many great prints all for $12-$15. Which really can't be beat.

Have a great week! And as always thank you for reading!

Friday Fancies: Sunny Yellows + Prints

It's that time of the week again, it's finally Friday and that means I get to share some of the things that have caught my eye this week. Maybe with some of the Memorial Day sales I can get a little extra discount on some of these pretties.

I think I have a thing for yellow. I didn't even realize that pretty much everything I've been wanting is yellow until I put together this style board. Oh well, what better way to embrace the warm weather then with this sunny color.
Shorts: American Eagle | Shoes: Zara | Dress: ASOS | Sunnies: Anthropologie | Skirt: J. Crew Factory | Dress: Forever 21 | Bikini: Topshop
Well I hope you all enjoy your long weekend. And happy Memorial Day shopping!

What I Wore: Heart On My Sleeves

I know it's a bit early to be celebrating Valentine's Day, but it happens to be one of my favorite holidays purely because everything comes in shades of pink and little heart shapes. And what better way to get in the spirit then by wearing my heart on my sleeve, literally.

Shell: H&M [recent purchase] | Top: Forever 21 [recent purchase, N/A online, fitting room review here, similar here] | Jeans: American Eagle destroyed jeggings [similar here] | Shoes: Target [available here] | Bracelets: ILY Couture pave link, Kate Spade, Stella & Dot
Sunnies: Ray-Ban Aviators
Even my heart tattoo goes with the theme!
By the way, how amazing are these Target gold cap toe pumps!? Well I'm sure you've already seen them all over the blogosphere, they're hugely popular. And well I just happened to be lucky enough to snag these beauties yesterday for $9. Yup! You heard right, they were on clearance and ridiculously cheap. Online they're also on sale but still over $25, depending on which color you choose. So if you're still lusting for these shoes, I highly recommend checking out your local Target.

Shoes: Shoedazzle [ old, similar here
I actually started out the day wearing these gold loafers, when I went to Target and stumbled upon the pumps for $9. It was a sign that I had to get them because they happened to match my outfit perfectly.

And I felt like spreading the love to my cell phone too!
"Hello, Lover!"
Phone Cover: J. Crew Factory [more patterns here]
Now, I'm not actually a fan of what the holiday is about, because I personally believe you and your significant other should always show one another how much you care. But how are you getting in the mood for Valentine's Day? Are you as fond of heart prints as I am?
