What I Wore: Spring Is In The Air

Yay! It's finally Spring. Not that it really matters here in SoCal. But it's nice to say it's no longer Winter. Springtime is one of most beautiful here, it's warm out but not sweltering. I love being able to layer light pieces and wear bright colors.
Yellow is probably one of my favorite colors to wear. And this pale yellow lace dress immediately caught my eye when I walked into H&M recently. There are a lot of eyelet dresses out right now, but finding the right one is always difficult. I've been looking for a dress like this for quite some time. It's fitted and has an A-line flare which I prefer to a fuller skirt. I can definitely see this being a perfect Easter dress and definitely one that can be dressed down with sandals for the Summer. [And this dress comes in white too.]
The Details:
Dress: H&M [recent, similar here and here] | Top: Joe Fresh [see my review here, same here] | Shoes: J. Crew Factory [same here] | Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs for Neiman Marcus - Target, in Rose Gold [similar here] | Necklaces: Forever 21 and Groopdealz monogram necklace | Bracelets: Groopdealz enamel link, Kate Spade [similar here], and Stella & Dot | Sunnies: House of Harlow [same here] | Lips: Revlon Just -Bitten - Kissable in Love Sick [buy here] | Nails: Essie in Bikini So Teeny [Summer 2012 re-released for 2013, check your local Target]
The girls and I decided to surprise Daddy with lunch at work. Ha! They don't look excited here, but trust me they were going nuts hanging out with their daddy. Then it was off to see the Easter Bunny at the mall.

What's In My Bag

As a mom of 2 little ones both under 3, I've found that my bag belongs mostly to them, and this Marc Jacobs  pouch is all that is mine. But amazingly it fits quite a lot. And I love that it doubles as a cute clutch as well [as worn here].
I grabbed this pouch when Target put their Neiman Marcus collection on sale for 75% off. And it's been a great purchase. I've gotten so much use out of it. It fits everything I need on a daily basis. I can never leave the house without a few good lipsticks and sunnies. I like having variety with me, that way I'm always prepared.

I'm your typical SoCal girl, I live in my sunglasses. So I always carry a few pairs to match whatever I'm wearing. And can't very well forget my Disneyland Annual Pass in case the mood strikes and we decide to take an impromptu trip to Disneyland. We tend to do this often. Haha!
Sunnies: House of Harlow [last worn here, buy here], Vince Camuto [last worn here, buy here] | Bag: Marc Jacobs [similar here] | Bracelet: Kate Spade via TJ Maxx [similar here] | IPhone 5 Case: J. Crew Factory [same here]

1. Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake #80 [buy here] | 2. L'Oreal Colour Riche Balm in Caring Coral #418 [buy here] | 3. Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Sweet Tart #90 [buy here] | 4. NARS Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil in New Lover [buy here] | 5. & 6. Revlon Color Stay, Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Cherish Devotion #15 & Lovesick #20 [buy here] | 7. EOS Balm in Strawberry Sorbet [buy here]

I love this pouch. I'm no longer digging around in my diaper bag for lipsticks, sunglasses or my cell phone. I'm constantly misplacing these things, call it "mom brain" or what have you, but this Marc by Marc Jacobs bag has saved my life. Ok, so that may be an exaggeration but I am grateful that I don't have to dig around for my things any longer.

What are your on-the-go must haves?

What I Wore: Polka Dots & Sequins

This past weekend, my sister turned 21. I decided it would be fun to take her out to one of the many wineries in town. We're lucky enough to live just minutes away from dozens of wineries, yet I hardly ever make it out to them. So it was a nice little sisterly bonding time.
Coincidentally,  I was dressed for President's Day, wearing red, white, and blue. And it wasn't until I got home that the Hubs pointed this out to me. Oh well, I always love a good theme, must be the sorority girl in me.

What I'm Wearing:
Shirt: Old Navy [N/A online, still in stores or similar here] | Shell: J. Crew [black still available here] | Pants: American Eagle [old, similar here] | Shoes: Calvin Klein via Marshalls [similar here] | Clutch: Marc by Marc Jacobs, Neiman Marcus Collection by Target | Necklaces: Bauble Bar [same here, last seen here] & Hello Fab | Bracelets: GroopDealz and Stella & Dot | Sunnies: Vince Camuto [same here]
