What's more California girl then a Summer Boho look? I went through several years where I literally lived in Boho looks and imitated everything Nicole Richie, Rachel Zoe, and the Olsen twins wore. Nowadays I've put away lots of my flowy boho attire and opted for more structured pieces. I guess having spent the last several years popping out babies, and living in loose clothing, I'm embracing this time in my life where I can get back into more structured and tailored clothing. But every once in awhile I still like to bring back a little Boho, especially when trying to beat this Summer heat.

WIW: Sisterhood of the Traveling Isabels
So excited to finally be doing a collaboration with one of my best gal pals, Bianca of Lotus Blossom Design. She's stylish, sassy and so bad for my wallet. HAHA! The girl talked me into starting our very own version of the "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" late one night. And so what happens, we both splurge and go in on these amazing Isabel Marant printed jeans all while we're both in bed, on opposite coasts. Perks of having a friend who's the same size, down fall, girl moved across the country a few months ago.
Now that you know our back story, we wanted to share with you all 2 different ways to style these fabulous printed jeans. I kept my look casual for an evening of shopping while B, got all dolled up in hers. How adorbs is she!? You all may remember my outfit from the Old Navy Blogger Event, now you can find out all the details about this look. And get the deets on Bianca's look at Lotus Blossom Design.

WIW: Stripes On Stripes + A Sizzlin Summer Giveaway
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We took the girls to Sea World for the first time in celebration of Big Sis' 3rd birthday, which is actually today. Cannot even believe it myself, 3 years old and starting preschool in just a matter of weeks. Crazy how fast it all goes by. I'll be sharing some pictures from our Sea World Adventure tomorrow.
Today, I wanted to share a little gem I recently found at Forever 21. Even though I am a fan of the store, I still believe it's rather hit or miss with their products. There are times I go in there and am just completely baffled by what's going on and there are other times I'm completely amazed. And well this striped drop waist dress was on of those nice surprises I found recently. I love the drop waist look and it even has POCKETS! WooHoo!

WIW: Take A Bow
As you already know I'm a sucker for a cute back. So when this adorable bow back maxi dress appeared on Very Jane I immediately ordered it. And thank goodness I did because this dress sold like hot cakes.
I love shirts and dresses that have a little back detail because you can get away with showing some skin there without looking scandalous. And how cute is this mint bow!? I made sure to match my mint bow with my mint Steve Madden gladiator sandals. My sister kept telling me this was very Dr. Seuss of me.
Took my bow back out for some mexican food. Yum! Can't beat that on a hot day.
A little stop into the Sweet Shoppe is always necessary when in Old Town. So much candy, I could barely contain myself.

WIW: All Over Anthro
If there is one store that only allow myself a visit to only when they're having a sale it's Anthropologie. Why? Because I will literally buy everything in the store whether it's for the home or my closet, I want everything in that place. So once a season I allow myself to go there even though I rarely buy solely from the sale section. But it does keep me from grabbing everything and running to the register. Like those cute little vintage aprons, do I really need one!? Probably not. But do I want one? YES!
And the outfit I'm sharing with you all today, I literally couldn't contain myself when I laid eyes on it. This jumper is an attention grabber. The print and the cut-out back! I knew I had to have it. Plus as soon as I put it on I didn't want to take it off. It is unbelievably soft. Paired with my Ava Tortie's from Anthro as well, I was dressed in a matter of seconds. One bonus of a great jumper/romper, there's no need to stare into your closet forever contemplating outfits.

Blogger Night at Old Navy
You know me, always making sure there is a little sparkle under my scarves. Just a hint of glitter for when the scarf shifts a little and you get a peek. Every girl should always sparkle no matter the day!
Scarves, scarves, and more scarves. I can't get enough of them. And let me tell you, Old Navy was not lacking in colors or prints. I've always been a fan of their scarves so it was no wonder that I immediately gravitated to their wall of scarves as soon as Kyle let us go wild in the store.
Just a little peek into my fitting room. I guess I was having a blue moment.
We all know Old Navy kills it at giving us all those great staple pieces at beyond incredible prices. So I wanted to showcase how versatile some of those pieces are especially since it's already mid-Summer and Fall is only several weeks away. Finding those transition pieces that will take you from Summer to Fall is important when buying clothes in the latter Summer months.
Outfit Details:
Look 1: I love a great tank dress in the Summer time and this black one is the perfect transition piece from Summer to Fall. And to keep from looking like you're attending a funeral add a bold print and some bright accessories.
Look 2: Here I am again in black, but guess what!? It's the same tank dress from Look 1, half tucked into a brightly printed pair of shorts. Add a denim jacket and your day time look is ready for cooler casual nights.
Look 3: Love, love, love this sheer tie-dyed blouse! It came in so many colors I couldn't decide. But went with the tried and true blue. This color is perfect for any season, so I knew it would be easily worn the rest of the Summer and into the Fall. Paired with some relaxed fit denim shorts and printed flats, you've got a great weekend look.
Oh Hey! Twinsies! Here's Maria of Savvynista and I wearing this to-die-for striped maxi dress. How fabulous does she look? I'm telling you this dress is going to be flying off the shelves so if you want it run to your nearest Old Navy and get it now! All the girls and I were fighting over this one. This maybe one of the most unique pieces I've seen at Old Navy. It's got a 70's vibe to it, so if you feel like channeling your inner Rachel Zoe or Nicole Richie, then this dress is a must have!
